25,000 passengers have travelled so far on the Athletic plane operated by Vueling, visiting cities such as Istanbul, Barcelona, Oviedo, Brussels, Palma, Granada, Lanzarote, Valencia, Santiago, Jerez, Seville, Tenerife or Amsterdam, as well as Bilbao, of course.

"On 27 December, Iñaki Williams travelled from Malaga to Bilbao as a passenger. The player was accompanied by his mother and other family members. The player’s presence on the flight aroused the curiosity of the rest of the passengers, who were already surprised by the fact that he was flying on Athletic's plane. On arrival in Bilbao, after disembarking, Iñaki Williams took a photo with his mother in front of the part of the fuselage where his image appears."
"In general terms, there was a feeling of surprise and satisfaction when the passengers discovered that they were going to fly in Athletic Club's personalised plane. As a coincidence, some travellers wore the Athletic shirt for the trip, even though they were unaware they would be flying on this aircraft. This feeling of a special trip is much more heightened in the case of children."
"Many passengers react positively by taking selfies with the headrest and panoramic photos in the cabin. Even passengers travelling on another aircraft take advantage of boarding and disembarking moments to take photos with the Athletic airplane."
"Beyond the exterior fuselage, the personalisation of cabin’s interior (carpet, headrests, windows and bathroom mirror) makes the experience more accessible for passengers, as they can also take photos during their journeys."
"As a personal experience, I can say that for me, as a Basque living outside the Basque Country, it was a gift of a trip, both there and back. I was quite excited even though I am not a big football fan. At the end of the day, it’s a Basque team and your country always has a strong pull. As an anecdote, when they played special voices after the team's victory, I turned around and spoke to them in Basque with a final cry of ‘AUPA ATHLETIC!’ and they started shouting and clapping quite excitedly. As for the passengers in general, they were all very nice and polite. In two words, happy and grateful."
